We are delighted to announce a significant enhancement to our liability offering. We’ve created a new interactive question set that consolidates seven of our existing schemes into one streamlined process, designed to improve efficiency and reduce referrals.
What’s new?
- Seven liability schemes rolled into one with up to six trades: No need to submit multiple quotes for comparison. This new set allows up to four quotes per submission by comparing the best rating structure between Per Capita and Wages & Turnover.
- Cater for multi-trade risks without a referral: Now you can seamlessly handle more complex risks.
- Consistent policy wording: A clear, consistent policy wording for liability covers and a further separate wording for all property damage covers (excluding CAR).
- Financial loss cover is now included as standard for up to £50,000.

- Fewer referrals: Designed to minimise referrals, saving you valuable time.
- Improved turnaround times: Enhanced service standards for a faster response.
Commissions
- Wages & Turnover, Per Capita, Market Traders, Outside Caterer and Contract Cleaners will now all benefit from 20% commission.
Optional covers available
We are offering eight optional covers that can be added to your liability policies, ranging from Legal Expenses, Tools, Business Interruption, and Contractors’ All Risks (CAR).
All policies benefit from £1,000 Loss of Stock & Money cover in addition to £1,500 Tools and Business Equipment Included as Standard.
The following optional covers are available:
- Loss of Stock (up to £25,000) £1,000 (Included as Standard)
- Loss of Money (up to £10,000) £1,000 (Included as Standard)
- Tools & Business Equipment (excluding plant) £1,500 (Included as Standard)
- Loss of licence (e.g. for mobile bar caterers)
- Deterioration of Stock Cover
- Business Interruption
- Contractors All Risks Cover (not available if the trade is Market Traders, Motor Trade, Retailers or Outside Caterers)
- Legal Expenses via ARAG £100,000 policy limit (Option to include Employment Tribunal)
Important updates for New Business
Two new buttons under Liability, replacing Per Capita and Wages & Turnover buttons: Contractors & Tradespeople and Trades for the Motor Sector.
Existing Business
Outside Caterers, Contractor Cleaners, Market Traders and Online Retailers – new business will now be directed to the new question set with the optional covers available.
Existing business will continue on the current question set and will still be invited for renewals.
